Lee Rigby murder: Soldier's family release video on third anniversary of his death
'I'd like people to remember Lee as his family and friends do - as a son, brother, father, partner, uncle and comrade,' says his mother, Lyn Rigby
Lee Rigby's family have released home video footage of the soldier to coincide with the third anniversary of his murder.
The footage shows Fusilier Rigby drumming and marching in full uniform in Windsor and joking with family at a wedding.
The 25-year-old soldier was murdered in May 2011 by Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale in Woolwich, south east London.
The two self-proclaimed Islamic extremists used knives and a cleaver to kill him in a brutal attack that sent shockwaves around the world.
His mother, Lynn Rigby said: "I'd like people to remember Lee as his family and friends do - as a son, brother, father, partner, uncle and comrade.
"That's why we've decided to release this footage of Lee filmed by his family, including clips of him smiling and trying to dance with his sister Sara, at his passing out parade and drumming in full ceremonial gear in Windsor.
"Watching it makes me so proud of him."
'He was always smiling': Lee Rigby named as Woolwich victim
Show all 17A memorial was dedicated last year to Fusilier Rigby at the military barracks in Woolwich he was returning to when he was attacked.
Mrs Rigby added: "Lee was a normal, loving young man in the Army who had the terrible misfortune to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"I'd like to use my son's name for good. No-one should have to go through what my family has suffered.
"I still miss Lee and suffer his loss as acutely as the day he died, but I'm hoping that, by building a legacy for him, it will help me to heal in some small way."
