A family of six were rescued from their flooded home in the Lake District by helicopter.
A video released by the Maritime & Coastguard agency shows a family of six in the Lake District airlifted to safety as floodwaters engulfed their home.
The footage shows water had reached beyond the ground level of the family home.
The crew was forced to lift the family to safety when their house in a remote part of the Lake District became surrounded by rapid-moving water, leaving them stranded.
