The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, oversaw a series of outdoor baptisms on the steps of York Minster for Easter Saturday.

Earlier the Archbishop of Westminster, Vincent Nichols, spoke of public goodwill towards the Bolton Wanderers footballer Fabrice Muamba as an example of how prayer can "transform personal distress".

His speech, delivered from Westminster Abbey, also highlighted the work of those who care for people with dementia.
