Gerry Adams's cousin charged
DAVID ADAMS, 35, a cousin of Gerry Adams, the Sinn Fein president, and five other men have been charged over an alleged terrorist incident. Adams, 35, appeared before a special court in a Belfast hospital. Five men were remanded in custody charged with conspiracy to murder a member of the security forces, possessing weapons, imprisoning a family of seven and hijacking a van.
The Belfast headquarters of Sinn Fein was damaged in a rocket attack yesterday. The building was empty.
