A 56-year-old woman was being questioned on suspicion of murder today after a man in his 60s was found dead in suspicious circumstances.
The body was discovered by officers who were called to an address in Ruxley Ridge, Claygate, near Esher, Surrey, just after 1pm yesterday.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said a post mortem examination to establish the cause of his death will take place at the Royal Surrey County Hospital at 2pm today.
A 56-year-old woman from Claygate was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any other information about the incident to contact them on 0845 125 2222.
