Doctor charged with sex offences
A doctor has been charged with 18 sexual offences against 10 women, police said today.
Dr Yenugula Srinivas, a 40-year-old locum doctor, is alleged to have carried out the offences at three surgeries in Oxfordshire.
The women, aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, claim they were sexually assaulted between February 2008 and July 2009.
The alleged offences, of sexual touching and digital penetration, are said to have taken place at surgeries in Islip in Oxfordshire, St Clements in Oxford and at the Bury Knowle Surgery in Headington, Oxford.
Srinivas was released on bail by Thames Valley Police and will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 11.
