BNP men convicted
Richard Edmonds, 51, the national organiser of the British National Party, was convicted of violent disorder at Southwark Crown Court for an attack which left a black man scarred for life. Sentence was adjourned. Co-defendant Simon Biggs, 28, of Penge, south-east London, was jailed for four and a half years for violent disorder and unlawful wounding. Stephen O'Shea, 38, of Purfleet, Essex, will be sentenced for violent disorder next week.
