Professor Cyril Clifford Addison, of Millom, Cumbria, Emeritus Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Nottingham University, left estate valued at pounds 105,763 net.

Col Sir Robert Andrew St George Martin, of Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire, former Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, left estate valued at pounds 1,192,729 net.

Mrs Julia Proctor, of Moor Park, Hertfordshire, left estate valued at pounds 4,049,560 net.

Mr William Abercrombie Kidston Glen, of Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex, left estate valued at pounds 1,659,589 net. After personal bequests of pounds 100,000, his home and effects, he left half the residue to the Macmillan Day Hospice and one-quarter of the residue each to the RNID and King Edward VII's Hospital, London.
