The creator of the Spiderman and Fantastic Four series was taken from his home in the Hollywood Hills to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after calling 911, according to TMZ. The reason for his hospitalisation is not known.
Lee, who made a brief appearance in Ant Man, seemed energetic when he appeared at the premier on Monday, joking: “The only reason I came was to see my cameo! Is it good?”
He also took a minute to give some tough advice to aspiring comicbook creators, saying: “Stop wasting time watching this and start drawing, for crying out loud, That’s my advice. You want to be an artist? Draw. You want to be a writer? Write.”
