St Catherine's College, Oxford

The Fellows of St Catherine's College, Oxford, announce the pre-election of Professor Lord Plant of Highfield, Professor of Politics at Southampton University, as Master. He will assume his office with effect from Michaelmas Term 1994. He succeeds Dr EB Smith, who has been appointed Principal of the University of Wales College of Cardiff.
