Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is reportedly wanted for questioning after a man claims the rapper punched him in the face at a Super Bowl party.

According to TMZ, Steven Donaldson filed a battery report claiming that the hip-hop mogul had assaulted him during a pre-game event on Saturday night.

Combs was apparently set to host the occasion, but didn’t arrive until 1.15am it is claimed.

In video footage obtained by the video site, the claimant appears to be heard arguing with the rapper face-to-face before the footage cuts out.

Donaldson claims Combs then struck him before he was ejected from the $100-a-ticket event.

Scottsdale Police are said to be interested in speaking to the rapper to get his response to the allegation.

A spokesperson for Sean Combs is yet to respond to request for comment.

He did, however, post this Instagram of a lion a few hours ago, which may or may not be related:
