The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, opens the Lancaster CAB Diamond Jubilee Exhibition, King Street, Lancaster; as President, British Olympic Association, attends the National Olympic Committee Meeting at the Town Hall, Bury Metro, Bury, Greater Manchester; as Patron, Townswomen's Guilds, attends their 70th anniversary celebrations at the Floral Hall, the Marine Drive, Southport, Merseyside; and, as Patron, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, attends the school's annual Vice-President's Dinner, at the Shell Centre, London SE1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion The Duke of Wellington's Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
