Robbie Coltrane was taken to hospital after suffering from severe flu-like symptoms onboard a British Airways flight from London to Orlando.

On landing, the actor, 64, best known for his role as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter series, was rushed to a hospital close by.

Orlando is the home of Potter theme park the ‘Wizarding World of Harry Potter’, which opened its doors for the first time last year.
