Your support makes all the difference.Richard Dreyfuss has condemned Donald Trump, calling him an âintemperate, mean-spirited, lying bullyâ.
The 68-year-old actor, who is best known for his role in Jaws, argued that if someone would not grant the Republican presidential candidate permission to marry their daughter then they should not allow him to run the country.
âIf a man like that asked you for permission to marry your daughter, what would your answer be? If itâs no, I think itâs obvious we shouldnât give him the most powerful office on the face of the earth,â he told The Guardian.
This is not the first time Dreyfuss has rebuked Mr Trump. In since deleted tweets written in May, he called the celebrities who have come out in support of Mr Trump âw****sâ.
âThe saddest people arenât Donald Trumpâs supporters. Theyâre really struggling. Itâs Donald Trumpâs celebrity supporters who are w****s,â he wrote. âI get the thing about âoff the cuff speaking.â I get it! But when that speaking is dedicated to hurting Latino Americans, youâre a racist.â
A representative for Mr Trump did not immediately respond to request for comment.
