Your support makes all the difference.Jo France, dance-hall proprieter, died Nice 11 July, aged 82. Founder of the Balajo dance hall in Paris. Established in the Rue de Lappe in 1929, the Balajo became the favourite haunt of such stars as Jean Gabin, Marlene Dietrich, Arletty and Edith Piaf. He went on to renovate the Moulin Rouge in the Fifties.
