Apparently they sorted it out over a nice chat at the White House. Fancy.

Malia Obama’s CV is starting to look pretty impressive already, even before she prints it off on official White House paper.

Us Weekly have reported that Barack Obama’s 17-year-old daughter has landed a summer internship working with Lena Dunham on the set of the new season of Girls.

A source told the magazine that the two discussed interning when Lena casually visited the White House earlier in the year.

“It’s a bit of a trial thing for her,” they said. “They’ve known each other and discussed for a while. Lena and her get along great.”

Malia has been seen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where the show is filmed and set.

Previously, Malia has interned as a production assistant on CBS show Extant, starring Halle Berry.

She is also reported to be taking an internship at a fashion house once she has finished with Girls.

Girls is respected to return with its fifth season in early 2016, but there is no word yet on whether it is the penultimate season or not.

Dunham has previously said she has considered wrapping up the show after a sixth season.
