Adele delivered a less-than-perfect performance during the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday night after her set suffered technical difficulties.
The 27-year-old singer performed “All I Ask” off her 2015 record-breaking album 25. Despite the sound clearly being off in the beginning of the performance, Adele received a standing ovation from the crowd.
After the ceremony, Adele explained on Twitter that a mic fell into a piano during the performance. She also said that she'd be treating herself to In-N-Out burgers:
Adele's 25 is the first album she'd released in five years. The album broke nearly every US sales record—selling more than seven million copies—in 2015 but for some reason did not yet qualify for this year's Grammy Awards.
Billboard reports that she definitely skipped all the after-parties she was expected to attend with her label mates.
