11 November: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia today visited Edinburgh and was received by Mr James Hastie (Deputy-Lieutenant for the City of Edinburgh).
His Majesty, Honorary Fellow, this morning visited the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was received by the President (Professor Patrick Boulter).
After touring the College, escorted by the President, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia attended a Reception.
His Majesty afterwards visited the Palace of Holyroodhouse and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Edinburgh (Mr Norman Irons, the Right Hon the Lord Provost).
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia was received with a Royal Salute and inspected a Guard of Honour found by the 1st Battalion The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment).
His Majesty was entertained at Luncheon by the Deputy Keeper (the Lord James Douglas-Hamilton MP).
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia this afternoon visited Edinburgh Castle and was received by the Governor (Major-General Michael Scott, General Officer Commanding Scotland), where His Majesty laid a Wreath at the Shrine of the Scottish National War Memorial.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia subsequently toured the 'Honours of Scotland' Exhibition, escorted by Mr Graeme Munro (Director, Historic Scotland).
The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia this morning visited Hampton Court Palace and was received by the Lord Moore of Wolvercote.
Her Majesty toured the Palace and afterwards was entertained at Luncheon in the King's Banqueting House by the Lord and Lady Moore of Wolvercote.
His Excellency Mr Moshe Raviv was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the State of Israel to the Court of St James's.
His Excellency was accompanied by the following members of the Embassy:
Mr Gideon Meir (Minister Plenipotentiary), Brigadier General Azriel Nevo (Defence and Armed Forces Attache), Mr Yaacov Hadas-Handelsman (Counsellor), Mr Matityahu Hacohen (Minister Counsellor, Consular Affairs), Mr Ram Aviram (Counsellor, Press), Mr Shmuel Micha (Counsellor, Administration), Mr Arthur Koll (Counsellor, Information) and Mr Amir Maimon (Second Secretary).
Mrs Raviv was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir David Gillmore (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Comomonwealth Affairs) was present and the Household in Waiting were in attendance.
Mr Justice Gage was received by The Queen upon his appointment as a Justice of the High Court when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the insignia of a Knight Bachelor.
Admiral Sir Anthony Morton was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Vice-Admiral of the United Kingdom.
Mr Patrick Brown (Permanent Secretary, Department of Transport) was received by Her Majesty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were entertained by The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia this evening at a Banquet at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.
Her Majesty was represented by Major-General Michael Scott (Governor, Edinburgh Castle and General Officer Commanding Scotland) at a Service to Commemorate the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of the Signing of the Armistice in 1918 which was held at the Scottish National War Memorial, Edinburgh Castle, this morning.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Cambridge Foundation, this morning received Professor Sir David Williams, Sir Alastair Pilkington and Dr William Squire at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness, Patron and Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, later attended Receptions at St James's Palace for Young People who have reached the Gold Standard.
The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon gave a Luncheon and chaired a meeting of the trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Buckingham Palace.
11 November: The Prince Edward, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, this afternoon attended a meeting at Buckingham Palace.
This evening His Royal Highness was entertained at a Banquet given by The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.
11 November: The Princess Royal this morning visited the National Horseracing Museum, High Street, Newmarket, and as received by Mr Robert Fellowes (Deputy-Lieutenant of Suffolk).
Her Royal Highness, President, Animal Health Trust, afterwards attended a Council of Management Meeting and visited the Department of Infectious Diseases, Lanwades Hall, Kennett, Newmarket.
The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this afternoon opened the new manege at Hereward Group, Knights End Riding Centre, Knights End Road, March, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire (Mr James Crowden).
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, this evening attended the Foundation Day of the Unversity of London, Malet Street, London WC1.
Lady Carew-Pole was in attendance.
The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs Timothy Holderness-Roddam at the Memorial Service for Lieutenant-Colonel Frank Weldon which was held in the Church of St Michael and All Angels, Badminton, this morning.
CLARENCE HOUSE
11 November: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was present this morning at a Service in Westminster Abbey to mark the 75th Anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, and laid a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Warrior.
Her Majesty subsequently planted a Cross of Remembrance in the Royal British Legion Field of Remembrance at St Margaret's Church, Westminster.
The Hon Mrs Rhodes, Major Sir Ralph Anstruther Bt and Captain the Hon Edward Dawson-Damer were in attendance.
KENSINGTON PALACE
11 November: The Princess of Wales today laid the Foundation Stone of the Master's Lodge, Forecourt Building, Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and was received by Mr Michael Marshall (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).
Mr Patrick Jephson was in attendance.
This evening Her Royal Highness was entertained at a Banquet given by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.
