7 February: Divine Service was held in West Hewton Parish Church this morning.

The Reverend Canon George Hall preached the Sermon.

Mr Richard French had the honour of being received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mrs French was also received by The Queen.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE

6 February: The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Commander Timothy Laurence RN, this afternoon attended the France versus Scotland International Rugby Match, Parc des Princes, Paris, and was received by Her Majesty's Ambassador (His Excellency Sir Christopher Mallaby).

KENSINGTON PALACE

6 February: The Princess of Wales today visited Cardiff and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for South Glamorgan (Captain Norman Lloyd-Edwards).

Her Royal Highness attended the Wales versus England Five Nations Rugby Match, Cardiff Arms Park.

Captain Edward Musto RM was in attendance.

ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Princess Royal visits the Olympic Centre and Olympic Park in Manchester. The Duchess of Kent, Patron, Age Concern, attends a luncheon hosted by Tarmac plc at the Connaught Hotel, London W1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
