Volvo back in profit
Volvo, the Swedish automotive group, rebounded into the black in 1994, making pre-tax profits of Skr16.38bn (£1.4bn) against a Skr2.64bn loss in the previous 12 months. Sales were up and the group said car and truck operations had boosted operating profits.
