Pinewood is still pushing for more growth

Pinewood Shepperton, the film and television studios group, is pushing ahead with expansion plans despite losing its major planning application this year.

Lord Grade, the chairman, said it had started investment in its television facilities and would make a new planning application for Pinewood Studios in the autumn. He said: "A long-term plan for growth and investment at Pinewood is necessary."
