Nando’s has delighted fast food lovers by announcing that it is trialling home delivery across large parts of the UK.
The restaurant, famous for its Portuguese-style chicken dishes and trademark sauces, has been offering take-aways for some time, but has now teamed up with Deliveroo so that customers can enjoy meals and snacks without leaving their home.
Swathes of people took to social media to praise the new service, calling it a “game-changer”.
Earlier this year, KFC partnered with online takeaway service Just Eat to offer deliveries through its app and website from 30 of its branches in Greater London.
McDonald’s also rolled out a new home delivery service this year.
Nando’s was founded in 1987 in South Africa and has since expanded into around 30 countries where it has around 1,000 outlets.
It opened its first UK resultant in West London in 1992.
