FINANCIAL Assurance has put up its rates to lead the guaranteed income bond market over three, four and five years.

A pounds 5,000 investment earns 6.4 per cent a year over three years, 6.5 per cent over four and 6.85 per cent over five. A pounds 20,000 deposit earns 6.45 per cent, 6.6 per cent and 7 per cent respectively. And a pounds 50,000 investment earns 6.5 per cent, 6.7 per cent and 7.05 per cent respectively.
