For Ross and Jacqueline Aronson, there was no question as to where they would carry out their nuptials.
The couple, who met in New York City and now live in North Carolina, chose to hold their wedding in a location that they both held dear: A Whole Foods supermarket.
Ross and Jacqueline spent a lot of time roaming the food aisles together at their local Whole Foods store while living in the Big Apple.
Earlier in their relationship, Ross had actually admitted that he would ideally love to propose at his favourite supermarket.
In February 2017 he managed to live out his fantasy, asking Jacqueline for her hand in marriage in the flower department of a Whole Foods in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Inspired by the proposal, the couple then decided to take their relationship to the next level by saying “I do” again in the flower section, exactly one year after becoming engaged.
Their wedding was photographed by Digital Spark Weddings, and the photographs clearly show how much fun Ross and Jacqueline have in each other’s company.
"Photographing a wedding in a supermarket is obviously something we have never done before, however once Jacqueline and Ross told us their story we were all in," Adam Sewell, director and cinematographer at Digital Spark Studios told The Independent.
"Definitely a wedding that won't soon be forgotten."
“We loved the idea of having an important life milestone happen in a place we constantly go,” Jacqueline told TODAY Food.
“We know we will be back time and time again, and regardless of the occasion that brings us there, it has no choice but to be special.
“It will always remind us of an incredible day and significant moment when we made our lifelong commitment to one another.”
The Whole Foods employee who helped Ross orchestrate his proposal last year also helped the couple arrange their unconventional wedding.
The store was decorated with lots romantic signs that had been illustrated with romantic and food-related puns to mark the special occasion.
The couple exchanged their vows in the flower department, before heading to the Whole Foods cafe area with their guests for their wedding reception.
Following the ceremony and reception, the newlyweds enjoyed a celebratory meal at the Aronson’s home.
