Health Update: Painful treatment

LASER treatment for pre- cancerous conditions of the cervix can be more painful for young women with no children than those who are mothers, a new study from Leeds University has shown. The authors suggest in Gynecologic Oncology that young women should be offered a general anaesthetic.
