From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Test Drive Unlimited 2, a game of fast cars and luxurious islands, is confirmed for launch in February 2011: February 8 in North America, February 10 in Oceania, and February 11 in Europe.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is located on both Mediterranean Ibiza and Oahu, Hawaii. Ibiza is all-new, while Oahu makes a return after its appearance in 2008's original Test Drive Unlimited

Players of TDU2 will be able to cruise around, join races and clubhouses, and purchase a whole host of cars, houses, clothes, and even cosmetic enhancements for their in-game characters.

Like Burnout Paradise, players can trundle about in high-performance vehicles until they find something that takes their fancy. They spruce up their rides using a livery editor akin to that of Forza Motorsport 3.

There's also a special casino to which complimentary access is granted for those who choose to pre-order ahead of time on PC, Xbox 360, or PlayStation 3.

Other pre-order bonuses are specific to different retailers, and include exclusive access to some of TDU2's vehicle models.

Among them are versions of the Caterham Superlight R500, Audi RS 5, Ferrari 612, Aston Martin V12 and DB5, Bugatti Veyron, Ford Shelby and the Pagani Zonda.
