Uber: How to add multiple stops to a trip
The new feature is likely to prove very popular with users

Uber users in the UK can now add multiple stops to a trip.
The taxi-hailing app company has just introduced the feature, which should prove very popular with users, as it makes it much easier to pick up friends from different locations.
You can add up to three stops to a trip. If you need to make changes, you can remove any of the addresses and replace them with new ones.
To add multiple stops to an Uber trip, tap Where To?, and then the + sign next to the Where To? box. After that, add the addresses of your stops and request a car.
Your Uber driver will automatically be given directions to each of the stops, which will be made in the order they're added.
Previously, you'd have to enter your end destination and ask your driver to make stoppages – and possibly help guide them there too.
If you do add multiple stops to a trip, you can still split the fare. Like a regular trip, the cost of the entire journey will be divided equally.
“This new feature means that users no longer have to update the destination while on a trip and ensures more transparency on the fare for both riders and drivers,” said Uber.
“So whether you’re picking up friends en route or heading home from a night out, it’s easier than ever to ride together.”
Uber says the feature will roll out across the UK over the coming week.
