Nasa does not have a colony of child sex slaves on Mars, it has been forced to confirm.
The space agency has looked to address claims made by a guest on Alex Jones's Infowars channel that it has kidnapped children and is holding them on Mars.
“There are no humans on Mars. There are active rovers on Mars. There was a rumor going around last week that there weren’t. There are,” Guy Webster, who is a spokesperson for Mars exploration at NASA, told The Daily Beast . “But there are no humans.”

Mr Webster's rebuttal came into response to a guest on the Infowars channel, which is aired across the US, named Robert David Steele. He was interviewed on the Alex Jones Show, and during that interview he said that children had been secretly kidnapped and sent on a mission to Mars.
“We actually believe that there is a colony on Mars that is populated by children who were kidnapped and sent into space on a 20-year ride,” said Steele. “So that once they get to Mars they have no alternative but to be slaves on the Mars colony.”
It is just the latest conspiracy theory that Nasa has been forced to respond to and make clear is fake. Earlier this week a senior Nasa official was forced to make clear that it wasn't holding information about the discovery of aliens , after a video made by someone claiming to be affiliated with Anonymous suggested it was about to announce extraterrestrial contact .
The Martian surface appears extra-conducive to such rumours, apparently in part because it is strewn with rocks that sometimes look eerily like things on back on Earth . It seems to be a result of an effect called pareidolia , which is amplified by the strange and empty space that is seen in so many of the pictures sent back from Mars.
Many claim that they have seen evidence of living people on the planet in images sent back from Nasa's rovers, but that when they are spotted the agency shuts off the pictures. Mr Jones made reference to those claims on the show, discussing the fact that whenever the probes seem to find something they "turn them off" because they don't "want us looking into what is happening".
“Look, I know that 90 percent of the NASA missions are secret and I’ve been told by high level NASA engineers that you have no idea," Mr Jones said. "There is so much stuff going on."
Alex Jones caused controversy earlier this month when he was interviewed by NBC's Megyn Kelly and seemed to double down on a conspiracy theory that claims the notorious Sandy Hook school shooting never actually happened .
