Your phone and iPad are about to get a lot smarter
Apple has unveiled the new version of its iPhone and iPad operating system.
iOS 11 will be available to all users from 19 September, it said at the launch of its iPhone X and iPhone 8.
That will be just before the new phones are available, on 22 September.

Apple calls it a "giant step for iPhone" and a "monumental leap for iPad".
The company unveiled it earlier this year, and people have been able to try an unfinished version of the software for some time.
It will improve Live Photos, introduce the new-look App Store, make Siri less robotic and much more.
Unfortunately, not all iPhone and iPad users will be able to download it.
