Folk music and videogames might not seem like good bedfellows but that hasn’t stopped one singer-songwriter from combining the two.

Rebecca Mayes has found inspiration for her debut album, ‘The Epic Win’, from ‘Guitar Hero’, ‘The Sims’ and ‘Modern Warfare 2’. She rails against the tragic slaughter of zombies and the casual violence of ‘Resident Evil’ and ‘Velvet Assassin’. Sounds unusual. Judge for yourself via iTunes, Napster and Limewire.
