At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. In a recent media release from the company, entitled 'Sunsets, Seas, Skies and So On' Rockstar has displayed ten new images from the new game.
The gamesmaker has remained relatively tight-lipped over the actual content of the latest GTA game so far, other than releasing occasional trailers and screenshots.
The latest announcement from the GTA development team states that "Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on September 17, 2013".
It goes on to apologise for delays to the release date, saying: "We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game... We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience."
