My “petz fantasy” would be a dog that doesn’t need walking or a cat that buys its own Brekkies when we run out. But Ubisoft’s take on ideal animals is more to do with crazy colours and cute characteristics. Nintendogs it’s not, but as animal- care games go, Petz Fantasy is a sweet enough choice for children whose parents will buy them a DS – but haven’t cracked yet on a pony.
