The American Red Cross is promoting first place term "Red Cross Join Us" to encourage microbloggers to take part in Red Cross Month this March by volunteering for the organization or donating time, money and/or blood.

The Viña del Mar International Song Festival, a music festival held in Chile, South America, is represented on Twitter with third place term "#vina2011."

"Residente," the name of the lead singer from Puerto Rican band Calle 13, is in Twitter's most talked about topics in eighth place after performing at Vina del Mar.

"#thingsthedevilinvented" is in second place, "#cumannanyadoang" is in fourth place and "Miracle Whip," a salad dressing made by Kraft, is in seventh place.

The name of American R&B group "Bell Biv DeVoe" is in fifth place after the group reunited to perform on American TV show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

American basketball player "Baron Davis" is in sixth place; UberSocial, a Twitter app for smartphones, is in ninth place; and "Tripoli," the capital of Libya, is in tenth place.
