From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The first week of November witnessed the launch of three highly anticipated collections, including collaborations between top models and fast fashion chains (Kate Moss for Topshop and Daisy Lowe for Morgan), and the first-ever childrenswear collection by Stella McCartney (Stella McCartney Kids).

Kate Moss' final collection for Topshop landed on November 2. The British top model's 14th collection for the UK high street store, like the previous ones, pays homage to her personal style of bohemian-cum-glamourpuss. Think vintage floaty dresses, paisley prints, and sequins. Price points range from £12 (14 EUR) for a panty to £400.00 (459 EUR) for a sequined maxi dress. Most items in the collection run from a UK women's size 6 to a UK size 16. Shop Kate Moss for Topshop clothing online ( www.topshop.com) or at select Topshop boutiques worldwide.

Meanwhile, British model Daisy Lowe, who has modeled for Louis Vuitton, Mango, Agent Provocateur and Marc by Marc Jacobs, debuted her one-off capsule collection for French fast fashion chain Morgan on November 4. The 21-year-old Lowe, a regular on the party circuit, designed a women's ready-to-wear collection of Lurex maxi-dresses and other glitzy ensembles in her Oiseau de Nuit (Night Owl) collection, priced from $30 to $440. Lowe's first-ever collection for Morgan (and the first time Morgan has ever employed a guest designer) can be found at select Morgan boutiques across France and online. Stella McCartney, who has had two successful capsule collections with GapKids and babyGap under her belt, debuted her own eponymous line of childrenswear, Stella McCartney Kids, on November 3. The luxury kids' line, which comprises styles for babies, boys and girls from ages 0 to 12 years, ranges in price from £14 (16 EUR) for a baby's T-shirt to £130 (149 EUR) for a coat. McCartney, a lifelong vegetarian and environmental rights activist, offers a variety of eco-friendly pieces like organic cotton leggings for babies and organic tees for kids. The range is available at select Stella McCartney boutiques and online. ( http://www.stellamccartneykids.com/).
