From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Adriana Lima has scored a major new campaign, as the face of Marc Jacobs' upcoming fragrance Decadence.
The Brazilian model is most famous for being one of Victoria's Secret's longest running Angels but has a host of other high profile gigs under her belt including as a face of Maybelline.
Lima, 33, will be the face of Marc Jacobs' new fragrance Decadence, set to be released in the autumn. She joins the likes of Dakota Fanning and Karlie Kloss who have previously starred in the brand's perfume campaigns.
The announcement of Lima as the new face of the brand came as no surprise, the model walked in his last show and also attended the Met Gala earlier this week alongside Marc Jacobs, dressed head-to-toe by the designer.
Lima commented on the news yesterday sharing an image of herself and the designer with the caption:
"So honored to be chosen as the face of @MarcJacobs new fragrance Decadence...shot by the incredible Steven Meisel"
The new fragrance is reported to mark a move away from the sweeter more youthful scents Jacobs is known for and will instead be more exotic.
