Gisele Bündchen has shared her preparations for the Super Bowl ahead of this evening's event, where her husband, Tom Brady, quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be playing against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Brazilian supermodel, who is one of the highest-paid models in the world, is often photographed supporting Brady at the annual sporting event, which, this year, is taking place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be nowhere near as crowded as usual, with 25,000 fans and 30,000 cutouts, according to NFL Network.

The stadium usually seats 65,890 fans.

Now, ahead of the game, Bündchen has shared some photographs of her preparations with her 16.6m followers on her Instagram Story.

On Saturday, the 40-year-old model posted a photograph of chocolate biscuits shaped like American footballs alongside a vase of white flowers alongside the caption "getting ready!!!".

Bündchen also tagged the location as Tampa, Florida, confirming her attendance at Sunday's event, which will see Miley Cyrus and The Weeknd perform.

In a second Story, Bündchen shared a photograph of the sun rising over the water in Tampa alongside the caption "Let's go Bucs!!!" and three flame emojis.

Last year, Bündchen revealed she doesn’t like being referred to as a “stepmum” by her step-children with Brady.

In response to one question from a fan during an Instagram Q&A, who asked how it feels “being a stepmom” to Brady and his ex Bridget Moynahan’s 13-year-old son John “Jack” Edward Thomas, the 40-year-old said: “I don’t like the word ‘stepmom’.

“I like the word ‘bonus mom’ because I feel like it’s a blessing in my life. I feel so lucky that I got to have an extra wonderful little angel in my life.”

Bündchen and Brady have been married since February 2009.
