She enjoyed worldwide fame as a Spice Girl, married one of the most celebrated footballers of all time and has a hugely successful eponymous fashion brand.

But Victoria Beckham's label isn't your average celebrity-designed tat. Her autumn/winter collection is full of body-con dresses, tailored coats and sleek leather accessories that would look great on – well, her. This is a serious fashion line with stockists including Harrods and Net-a-Porter.com, where everything on Mrs Beckham's rail will leave your bank account at least a grand lighter.

But it doesn't mean she gets to choose who wears her creations. Fellow Spices Mel C and Emma Bunton are known fans, as are Hollywood A-listers Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Hudson and Demi Moore, which can only be good for the brand's associations. Oh, and then there's Carol Vorderman.

But will Posh Spice ever be able to shake off her girl-group-turned-WAG roots? Following the path of past VB-wearing WAGs Cheryl Cole and Louise Redknapp is Tulisa. The X Factor judge started dating Newcastle's Danny Simpson just three weeks ago, but on Sunday night's show she showed off the results of a footballer's eye-candy makeover: straight hair, Beckham dress, peep-toe shoes – WAG transformation complete.
