Fancy being a princess for the day? Heartwarming photos shared by Disneyland show what it's like to have the perfect fairytale wedding at one of their theme parks - but it'll set you back an eye-watering amount.

Dozens of couples are choosing to tie the knot at the magical theme parks every year and there’s even a dedicated Instagram page – with more than 400,000 followers – to prove just how dreamy they can be.

With four locations to choose from – Florida, Hawaii, California or a Disney Cruise – wedding experts are on hand throughout the process to help happy couples organise their bespoke day.

But, there’s a catch - because being treated like a real-life princess comes at a royally high price.

For example, a reception at the Magic Kingdom Wedding Pavilion in Orlando for around 100 to 150 guests will set you back around £32,000.

The cost includes dinner, photographer, videographer, bar, DJ and entertainment from Disney characters.

While some decide to tie the knot under the stars complete with fireworks, others opt for daytime celebrations with Disney-inspired ensembles and wedding cakes to boot.

“Each Disney wedding destination offers something unique, something any couple can get excited about and something all your guests can enjoy,” the Disney Weddings website says.

Photos of the real-life fairytale endings are chronicled on the Disney Weddings Instagram page with everything from a Cinderella horse drawn carriage, Mickey and Minnie macarons, to blushing brides-to-be posing with their engagement ring in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle. It really is every mega-fan’s dream come true.
