Games review: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
£29.99
Format PSP
Publisher Konami
Hideo Kojima’s stealth action outings are almost always cause for celebration, and the fifth part of the Metal Gear Solid cantos, Peace Walker, is no exception. During the ColdWar, Snake is this time placed in command of awhole base of troops – all purloined from the field – as he bids to save South America from nuclear war. Missions are of the bite-size-chunk variety, perfect for the mobile PSP gamer and riddled with teasing cliffhangers which demand one more go. The pleasantly convoluted plot is told via beautifully drawn animations, while graphics and sound take the PSP to new heights. Astunning addition to the MSGstable.
