Boxing Day has always been one of the best sale shopping days of the year, with prices heavily discounted. And this year is no different.

From fashion and homewares to technology, brands such as Currys PC World, Casper and Habitat are all slashing prices for a limited time only.

To help make some serious savings, we’ve put together a list of our very own voucher codes that you’re not going to want to miss.

What are discount codes?

There’s nothing worse than finding an item you’ve had your eye on, only to find that it is out of your price range.

Luckily, discount codes are a way of bringing these items into your budget, without having to substitute for a cheaper, potentially lower-quality brand.

When do Boxing Day sales start?

The Boxing Day and January sales mark the final peak in yearly trade for retailers, following Black Friday and early December, meaning it’s the best time of year to grab a bargain until November comes around again.

Traditionally, high street stores start their sales immediately after Christmas on Boxing Day, and online retailers tend to follow suit.

But as the market has gotten more competitive in recent years, some retailers have kicked off their sales earlier, some even starting before Christmas Day.

The deals then continue for most of January, with some discounts getting even better as the month progresses, as retailers will be keen to get rid of stock.

Make sure you’ve already got an account with big e-commerce websites like Amazon to make shopping easier and quicker (no time wasted entering all your details), and if you want next day delivery, register for Amazon Prime.

Sign up to newsletters of brands that you like and might want to shop from so that you’re first to know when their sales start and any discount codes you might need.

To find the original price of a product, use PriceSpy or CamelCamelCamel – the latter is especially useful for Amazon.

Don’t forget to check retailer’s returns policies before buying and to check the terms and conditions for sites you’ve not used before.
