Robin McKelvie

Robin is a Scottish travel writer, photographer and broadcaster who has contributed to The Independent since the late Nineties. His travels have taken him to over 100 countries including Siberia’s frozen Taiga and the endangered rainforests of Belize. He has written travel articles for over 100 titles across five continents and over 30 travel books for the likes of Insight, Berlitz and Dorling Kindersley. As well as writing for a variety of UK newspapers and magazines, including Wanderlust, National Geographic, the Times and the Herald, Robin also talks travel for BBC Radio, BBC TV and ITV.
