The first season of HBO's successful new series Westworld may just be reaching the mid-way point, but it's already implemented itself as one of the year's big talking-point shows.
Since episode one of the sci-fi western - an adaptation of Michael Crichton's film of the same name - fans have been debating intensely about many of the show's mysteries including the intentions of Ed Harris' character the Man in Black.
It turns out HBO programming president Casey Bloys is tracking these theories online - some of which, he claims, are not far off the mark.
Speaking to Variety, Bloys said: "There are a lot of theories out there, and with some of them, I’ve been very impressed with how they’ve constructed the guesses. I’ll just say, they’re getting close.
"I think people will get the answers they’re looking for by the end of season 1. A lot of the ones that people are buzzing about."

Despite the show's ratings success (each episode has garnered an average of 12 million viewers), Bloys is yet to commission it for another season - however, he stated that its future is "...looking really good."
Bloys also expressed interest in commissioning crime series The Night Of for a second season - something that wasn't awarded to Vinyl which Bloys axed as one of his first moves following his appointment.
