PETA's advert deemed too NSFW for Superbowl

With the 2016 Super Bowl fast approaching, companies have begun to release their half-time adverts, most of which cost millions to make and are safe for children to watch,

PETA’s submission is definitely not the latter. The basic premise of their advert? If you want to have good sex, don’t eat meat. Watch above.

Basically, the advert shows two couples in different rooms having racy sex. The man on the left of the screen fails to ‘last’ very long while the couple on the right continue to have sex for the remaining 30 seconds.

At one point, the man from the left side - now fully clothed - leaves the room and an object falls on his head, seemingly killing him. The clip switches back to the other couple, still going at it, while the caption “Last longer. Go vegan” shows on screen.

Unsurprisingly, PETA’s submission has been banned from airing during the big game. The animal rights organisation has a history of creating banned adverts, including one where numerous women rub vegetables on themselves in a sensual way.

There was also their infamous ‘Milk Gone Wild’ advert.

A pretty old one where a pizza delivery guy can’t get it up but the zucchini seller can.

Their less sexy 'KFC Torture Camp' advert in which Colonel Sanders looks at two guards as they beat up a chicken.

And one where Joaquin Phoenix went shopping.

“As you can see, most of our banned Super Bowl ads take a lighthearted approach to a very serious subject: the abuse of animals raised and killed for food,” states their website. Find out more about the organisation here.
