Trailer: Peaky Blinders Season 4

Peaky Blinders is now 50 days into its series 5 shoot, and the new episodes will see several new faces.

Brian Gleeson and Anya Taylor-Joy have both joined the BBC show, along with Sam Claflin, whose character we get our first look at today.

Tommy Shelby is now an MP, but his political career will be far from smooth sailing as the financial crash of 1929 hits.

Claflin will play a politician ‘with a bold vision for Britain’ (Matt Squire/Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd)

“Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere. When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by Claflin’s charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will affect not just his family’s future but that of the entire nation,” Deadline reports.

Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory and Paul Anderson will all return for the fifth season, which will see the show finally make the jump from BBC Two to BBC One. In the US it airs through Netflix.

The season will arrive in 2019, but a more specific release date has yet to be announced.
