Summer doesn’t have to spell the end of your sofa sessions and, with a host of great new films and TV shows coming to Netflix in August, you’ll want to schedule in some telly time among all those BBQs and picnics.
Two major arrivals to add to your “must-see” diary are animated movie The Little Prince, coming 5 August, and Baz Luhrmann’s musical drama series The Get Down, dropping 12 August and described as a “mythic saga of the transformation of 1970s New York City told through the lives and music of a ragtag crew of South Bronx teens”.
Other exciting new additions include 2015 box office hits Creed, Brooklyn and Sicario, as well as the first season of award-winning BBC drama Wolf Hall and season two of gritty Batman series Gotham.
