Master of None Netflix: Aziz Ansari drops first trailer on Twitter

Tacos are an integral theme to the show, as they rightly should be.

Aziz Ansari has posted the first trailer for his Netflix original series Master of None on Twitter, seeing him play, a 30-year-old man in New York City navigating his life through “ageism, sex, relationships, racism and tacos”.

The comedy seems to be like an expansion of his stand-up, taking his anecdotes a little bit further and bringing them together in a narrative.

It also looks a hell of a lot like fellow stand-up comic Louis CK's Louie (no bad thing).

‘Dev, a 30-year-old actor in New York who has trouble deciding what he wants to eat, much less the pathway for the rest of his life,’ the Netflix blurb reads.

‘Ambitious, funny, cinematic, and both sweeping in scope and intensely personal, Dev’s story takes him through subjects as diverse as the plight of the elderly, the immigrant experience, and how to find the most delicious pasta for dinner.’

Making a return to scripted sitcoms following Parks and Recreation, Aziz created the show alongside Parks’ Alan Yang, while Michael Schur, Dave Becky and David Milner are serving as executive producers.

All 10 episodes of season 1 go live on Netflix on 6 November.
