Despite being brought up in London, James Corden’s recent career has had very little to do with his home country. Instead, his attention has been focussed on becoming one of America’s biggest stars, primarily through his Late Late Show, famous for its carpool karaoke sessions.

However, while his show has been largely unavailable in the UK, it will now be watchable via Sky and Now TV thanks to a deal with CBS studios.

To celebrate The Late Late Show with James Corden starting on 19 July, a special episode will be shown the same day, titled The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special.

It will feature all the best moments from the carpool skits from the last few weeks including One Direction, Adele, and Jennifer Lopez.

CBS's Armando Nuñez said in a statement: ”In just over a year, James has made a very big mark on US late night television with a critically acclaimed show that features the biggest names in entertainment, and unique segments that quickly become digital sensations.

"We're excited that UK audiences will get to experience all the energy and excitement of the series with our terrific partners at Sky.”

In his most recent Carpool session, Corden brought along Selena Gomez, the pair discussing Taylor Swift and female sexism.
