Game of Thrones season 6 episode 7 and 8: Sansa Stark’s mysterious letter has been decoded

Yesterday, we mused over who Sansa was writing to behind her brother Jon’s back in episode 6 ‘The Broken Man’, and now that theorising has all been rendered moot by a fan with incredibly good eyesight and Photoshop skills.
A shot of the letter upside down was rotated and enhanced by Redditor u/CreepyPancakes - you can see their process in the gallery below - with the words that can be made out being as follows:
“[…] Now you have a chance to fulfill your promise [...] Knights of the Vale are under your command. Ride north for Winterfell. Lend us your aid and I shall see that you are [well/properly] rewarded."
As expected, Sansa was indeed writing to Littlefinger, who is in her debt after betrothing her to the maniacal Ramsay Bolton.
The clue was in the episode, which saw Sansa distracted by a bird in the Stark camp, a bird being Petyr Baelish’s House sigil.
Will Littlefinger (or possible Robin, technically the Lord of the Vale) meet her demand? My money’s on yes, with actor Aiden Gillen recently insisting that his character genuinely feels bad about what happened to Sansa and for once isn’t playing games.
“For me, this time out, there’s a level of atonement in relation to Sansa and my misjudgment of Ramsay Bolton,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “A lot of what I’m up to is atonement and really trying to align myself the right people … I left Sansa married to a psychopath. It’s probably the one time we’ve seen Littlefinger slip up. He really didn’t know about him. He should have.”
