From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

On April 15, organizers of the Roskilde Festival announced an additional 60 acts set to perform as part of the 2010 festival. Among new additions, headliners The Prodigy and Patti Smith will join previously announced acts including Gorillaz, Muse, and Them Crooked Vultures.

Other newly added acts for the Danish festival are Kasabian, Vampire Weekend, and the Norwegian band Kings of Convenience. Additional headliners include Jack Johnson and the Danish band Nephew, while Alice in Chains, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, and Pavement are also set to perform. A full current band list is posted on the Roskilde Festival website.

Among the largest European music festivals, Roskilde attracts more than 80,000 concertgoers and more than 180 performing bands. The 2010 festival will take place from July 1 to 4, with the campground opening for warm-up events that run from June 27 until the start of the festival. A €275-ticket includes camping and access to events for the entire week.
