Your support makes all the difference.Mogwai's latest album is the soundtrack to the acclaimed French supernatural drama series The Returned, and they've done a respectful job of augmenting the atmosphere of melancholy, contemplation and unease.
With its cellos, pianos and minor-chord guitars, it's the least avant-garde thing they've done. But it's difficult to escape the feeling that were this score by an anonymous composer, it wouldn't even merit a commercial release.
